"Reality and Illusion" stems from my ongoing reflection on the relationship between money and time. The work centers on everyday receipts, using an hourglass as a container to represent the material record of the passage of time. Each transaction not only marks a specific point in time but also carries my reflections on my lifestyle and value choices.
Through the extraction and reconstruction of these everyday traces, the work attempts to establish a connection between visible records of reality and invisible experiences of time, thereby exploring the underlying existential meaning and sense of nothingness behind material consumption.
